					<description>I have to object on the Firefox issue. Yes, the kid should be in trouble for violating policy and disobeying his teacher.

But this kid was NOT poking around at files. He was NOT viewing sensitive information. He was simply using a different road to the Internet.

Better analogy: kid takes alternate route to school. Would parents be mad? Maybe, a little, if they told him to take route #1, but it's not theft or a serious crime.

This is, of course, on the pretense that it actually happened. It didn't, but it could, and I'm pretty sure it has at least in some places.

Better option: petition IT department to get Firefox installed. (Proxy settings can be locked.)</description>
